Lesya Voytenko
Graduated from Ivan Franko Zhytomir State Pedagogical Institute, specialty biology and chemistry. Ph. D. Thesis is: “Phytohormones in growth process of Charophytes (Chara contraria A. Braun ex Kütz. and Chara vulgaris L.)” Author of the 45 scientific articles. Research activities deal with studies on endogenous phytohormones and their involvement in the regulation of plant growth and development. Studies on Charophytes resulted in revealing a direct correlation between growth intensity both in the whole thallus and in various metameres of fertile thallus and qualitative composition and quantitative content of phytohormones. She mastered the techniques of fine layer and high pressure liquid chromatography. Member of Ukrainian Society of Plant Physiologists and Ukrainian Botanical Society. Participant of international project with Bulgarian Academy of Sciences «Cellular Mechanisms of Holophytes Resistance to Abiotic Stress» (2014 - 2018).
